At Alliant Physical Therapy we have a belief that Physical Therapists can play a vital role in helping you beyond the clinic. Alliant Physical Therapists have unique training in understanding how exercise and activity can lead to long and healthy lifestyle. Encouraging movement and activity has been shown to decrease your risk for heart disease and diabetes. Furthermore leading a healthy lifestyle through proper nutrition and healthy lifestyle choices can additionally lead to leading the life you want.

Our Physical Therapists will be happy to give you guidance on healthy lifestyle choices. We will work with you at your level to begin or enhance your level of activity and exercise to keep you moving in a positive direction.

There are many people who know they should exercise, but the idea of joining a fitness center or club is intimidating. What should I do? Where do I start? How do I progress my exercises without injuring myself? Or, making my underlying problems worse?

Have an Alliant Physical Therapist assess your current fitness level, along with a comprehensive understanding of your physical limitations. Your Physical Therapist can then work with you and design a proper plan of strengthening, flexibility, and endurance training that will work for you. We will work with you for a home based program, or work with your gym or trainer to make sure that you are on the right path.

As your coach, we are there to encourage your progress and help you through the rough spots.
